Be Informed Thanks Outgoing CEO René Louter and Welcomes New CEO Hugo Ehrnreich
Apeldoorn, October 3 – Be Informed, a leading provider of advanced automation solutions for regulated industries, is pleased to announce a seamless transition in leadership as René Louter steps down as CEO, effective October 1st, and Hugo Ehrnreich assumes the role.
During his 5-year tenure, René Louter successfully led Be Informed through the tough COVID-19 years. He built strong foundations, positioning the company as a leader in translating complex regulations into innovative applications for automated decision-making and compliance.
Be Informed leverages its distinctive platform, tailored ITTS solutions, and strategic partnerships with world-class partners like TNO, BearingPoint Caribbean, and Accenture. This enables both private and public sector customers to excel in the complex and dynamic global regulatory compliance landscape. René will embark on a new role as CEO of HEEYOO, an IT Consultancy firm in The Netherlands, starting on the same date.

Hugo brings a 25-year international track record in growing customer and strategic partner value in enterprise B2B SaaS and professional services, with a special focus on enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and Business Intelligence (BI) & Analytics. He has an MBA from INSEAD and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE).
His extensive international background spans Europe, the US, and the APAC region, and he is proficient in five languages. His diverse experience in sectors like Automotive OEM, Financial Services, Government, and Public Administration positions him well. This background will be helpful for leading Be Informed’s international ambitions and strengthening its commitment to customers and partners.
